Less Carbon, More Connection – Magic Meetings, Without the Air Miles

At Jabra, sustainability is more than a buzzword; it’s a core principle woven into our culture, product design, and operations. By embracing a circular economy approach, we aim to keep resources in use for as long as possible, reduce carbon emissions, and ensure fair, ethical practices across our supply chain.

  • Durable & Repairable Products
We engineer our devices to last for years—or even decades—and design them for easy disassembly and repair.
  • Recycled & Renewable Materials
    • Transitioning to recycled plastics (PCR) and bio-based alternatives
    • Targeting 50% sustainable materials in new products by 2025
    • Using FSC®-certified packaging to minimize virgin plastics and reduce waste
  • TCO Certified
Several Jabra devices meet TCO certification, reflecting strict criteria on ergonomics, energy efficiency, and responsible sourcing.
  • Cutting Travel
    • Equipping four meeting rooms with a Jabra PanaCast 50 has roughly the same climate impact over two years as one single return flight from London to New York—making video collaboration up to 92% more climate-friendly.
    • We’re committed to halving our employee business travel vs. 2019 levels.
  • Clean Energy & Emissions Targets
    • Our main sites already run on 100% renewable energy; all sites will follow by 2025.
    • We’ve set a Science Based Target to reduce scope 3 emissions by 25% by 2030, focusing on materials, manufacturing, and shipping.
  • Life Cycle Assessments
We continually evaluate the full product life cycle to identify hotspots and reduce our carbon footprint from design to end-of-life.
  • UN Global Compact
We’ve been a member since 2011, aligning with its ten principles covering human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
  • Fair Labor & Safe Conditions
We audit our suppliers to ensure they meet strict standards for labor practices, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Conflict Minerals & Ethical Sourcing
Jabra enforces robust policies for responsible sourcing, including conflict mineral compliance and traceability in our supply chain.

Circular Economy & Product End-of-Life

  • Device as a Service
We offer subscription-based hardware solutions (in select markets) that include a takeback option, extending product life and reducing e-waste.
  • Recycling
In Europe, we contribute to e-waste recycling through EU WEEE directive partnerships, financing the responsible processing of discarded electronics.
  • Packaging Evolution
Since 2018, we’ve cut packaging CO₂ by up to 84% by eliminating foam, reducing virgin plastic, and switching to FSC® paper.

Beyond Carbon: Health, Safety & Well-Being

  • Hearing Protection
Jabra’s PeakStop™ technology helps safeguard users’ hearing, ensuring safe noise levels in headsets and speakerphones.
  • Chemical & Hazardous Substances
We strictly comply with relevant regulations to protect employees, partners, and end users from harmful substances.

Jabra is constantly innovating to reduce our environmental impact while delivering top-tier collaboration solutions. From carbon reduction to ethical sourcing and durable design, we’re committed to creating tech that benefits people and the planet.
